| Polly Beads A common fill for weighted blankets, poly beads are clean and safe. By weight, using even the densest available, they are much lighter than the fine grade stone so they make a bulkier blanket. For this reason, Polly beads are not used in blankets weighing over 7 pounds or for the closely concentrated weight of weighted vests , lap wraps, shoulder wraps, lap pads, or plush pounds. Blankets of only 2 or 3 pounds are best weighted with poly beads for the extra bulk they provide. If you need over 7 lbs of weight in poly bead, please call. Machine washable according to instructions provided. Line drying is recommended. |

Painstakingly cleaned, fine grade river stone is smooth, safe
and dust free. It's a much more concentrated weight than Poly
Beads and is therefore more effective for it's deep pressure
effect. Our fine Grade River stone is not sand and is not
crushed stone. It is natural hard river stone and is not sharp or
porous. It will not wear through the blanket fabrics. It can't
mildew as long as the blanket is washed after a spill. In case of
fire, it isn't flammable and cannot give off toxic fumes. Not
recommended for children who might chew on their blanket.
Machine washable according t instructions provided. Line
