About Us
My name is Annie. My sister Avon and I started making weighted blankets and weighted vests in 2004. At first I made the blankets and she made the vests and we sold them on eBay. As the business grew we opened a web site and started hiring local women who needed to be able to work at home. We insisted on quality and durability and comfort in our products. We love to shop and we buy beautiful cotton prints. Our Materials and Construction: The weight material we use is clean, cool all natural fine river stone. It is a little courser than sand. We don't use plastic beads or glass beads or polyester stuffing or polyester quilting. Our products are 4 layer cotton one piece construction. They are not an insert with a polyester cover. The weight is "quilted" into about 6 inch squares. Our Values: We believe that God cares for the precious souls who use these products and that he honors our service, our honesty and the works of our hands. We are honored to have your business. Me and my sister at the Nebraska State Fair in 2015. Sadly, my sister passed away in the summer of 2018. I miss her so. I hope we will create and serve and laugh together again on the other side of time.... Maybe you can join us.
