   My name is Annie. My sister Avon and I started making weighted blankets and weighted vests in 2004. At first I made the blankets and she made the vests and we sold them on eBay. As the business grew we opened a web site and started hiring local women who needed to be able to work at home. 

   We insisted on quality and durability and comfort in our products. We love to shop and we buy beautiful cotton prints.

   The weight material we use is clean, cool all natural fine river stone. It is a little courser than sand. We don't use plastic beads or glass beads or polyester stuffing or polyester quilting. Our products are 4 layer cotton one piece construction. They are not an insert with a polyester cover. The weight is "quilted" into about 6 inch squares.
